Traditional Lasagna to enjoy with the family.

Having a pasta dish that is considered a 'show-stopper' in your cooking repertoire is always good. Not just to impress your friends and family, but the recipe can challenge you, and once you have gotten the recipe down, you can modify it and experiment, and the next thing you know, you have made your rendition of the dish, and everyone wants it.
For me, I wanted a traditional Italian show stopper. I chose my Homemade Lasagna Recipe. I feel like it has always been considered a little harder to cook than most pasta dishes because of the assembly and prep time. I took it on. I got it right on the first try :
A Traditional Italian Showstopper.- GTG
The prep was 45 minutes-or at least that's what the cookbook suggested, but it took me an hour. It was a labor of love, and I am so happy I decided to conquer one of my cooking fears, because now this dish is one of my most requested by my friends and companions. I once cooked this for a man who told me it was better than his mother's. I was honored then, and now I am honored to share it with you. It is the traditional Lasagna that reminds you of Italy with every bite you take.
There is something to be said about food being able to transport us. I hope by cooking this recipe, you transport your family and they enjoy every single bite.
I always choose to serve this dish with a Cabernet, garlic bread, and a sweet cucumber tomato salad.
